I love the wildness that is associated with my home. We live in a rural, rugged landscape, where it is ever changing. The weather is very unpredictable and where the mountains roll down to the lakes and the sea.
I wouldn't live or ask to live anywhere else, well for the most part anyway. There are times, when the winter has gone on for just too long, where the wind seems to never stop and the rain never ceases to drench everything, all around us. But, thankfully, for the most part, North West Donegal is fabulous, the landscape, the views of the ocean and lakes, the mountain ranges, and mostly for the wonderful, funny, warm and lovely people.
From the photos, you get a glimpse. You can see that our landscape is ever changing, it is as alive as the grass that it moves, the clothes that it dries on the line, the trees that whisper with the breeze.
